Being You New Zealand

Step into your own strength! Coaching, mindset and mental wellbeing with Jordan Shearer.

Helping individuals and organisations thrive through wellbeing, resilience, and confidence.

Step into Being You

Are you ready to stop fitting into someone else’s rules and start living from your own strength?

Whether you’re stepping forward as yourself, or building a team that thrives, this is a place to reconnect, reclaim your power, and create real impact - unapologetically.

Welcome to Being You! A place for rebels, dreamers, and everyday humans ready to step into their own strength. Life can feel heavy, confusing, or like you’re just going through the motions. But what if you could finally stop trying to fit someone else’s mold and start showing up fully as yourself?

Here, it’s not about following a formula. It’s about authenticity, courage, clarity, connection, and choosing your own rules. Through coaching, mindset work, and mental wellbeing guidance, I help people reconnect with themselves, reclaim their power, and create lives that feel aligned and real. And when we do this work for ourselves, it ripples outward... contributing to collective healing and change in the world around us.

Whether you want more clarity, confidence, emotional resilience, or the courage to break free from expectations, my work is designed to meet you where you are — and help you live from your own strength while making a positive impact beyond yourself.

I’m Jordan Shearer, coach, guide, facilitator and full-time rogue. I blend my background in mental health, life coaching, human behaviour and psychology with a no-fluff human approach to personal growth, resilience and turning ideas into action. Together, we’ll cut through the noise, rediscover what matters to you, and take bold steps toward a life that’s yours... unapologetically.

Workshops & Team Training

Alongside individual coaching, I design and deliver private workshops for teams and organisations. These sessions focus on wellbeing, resilience, and confidence, and can be tailored to your group’s needs.

My experience as Programme Lead for Mental Health and Wellbeing education at Hato Hone St John, where I design public-facing courses, and as a trainer and facilitator with the New Zealand Life Coaching School, informs everything I bring to workshops.

Examples include:

  • Notice – Respond – Protect – Supporting young people through distress and escalation
  • Wellbeing for the Leadership Brain – Practical strategies to maintain wellbeing while leading others

Your next step? Come as you are. Leave closer to yourself.

I had to dig deep and really focus on all my thought patterns, positive and negative but Jordan guided me and coached me along the way. She naturally uses her NLP training which was incredible to experience a before and after mindset. Jordan has a creative gift, and an accurate analysis of people.

Jordan is awesome! A highly skilled and experienced coach. Everything I shared with her she handled with expertise, professionalism and warmth. This coaching allowed me to make massive changes in my life.

Michelle, New Zealand

Our trainer/coach Jordan - she's such a natural and the tools that she has gained over the years of her practice along with her innate astuteness is all such a beautiful package on the whole to be guided, taught and trained by. It was a delight to watch her coach at ease and was comfortable and fun to be coached by her.
